Sudeen Dwyer

Sudeen is the leader of M.A.R.C.H., which stands for Making Anti-Racist Change Happen. The goal of club is to teach people how to be anti-racist and better human beings. Sudeen leads weekly meetings, as well as the Anti-Racist Conference which hosts over 100 students from 5 different high schools. The conference created a community and space for a multiracial group of students and faculty to fight racism together.

Sudeen was instrumental in having the Sturgis Charter School handbook edited. The handbook now contains anti-racist language and consequences if someone was to perform and bigoted ideology. Sudeen will be attending Smith College in the fall.
