Summer Ramos

Summer took her own personal experiences and struggles with mental health to help other young people in her community. She states, “I started slowly, creating social media accounts and using those platforms to introduce myself as well as introduce my mission.” Summer joined the Miss America Scholarship Organization, to expand her social impact and overtime gain the name “Your Mind Matters”. She has taken mental health in to her own hands and is making a dent in the education of mental health in young people. Summer has been open with her struggles with mental health. She has spoken in front of numerous peers. Summer’s message to people is that you matter and most of all your mind matters. Summer will continue her work with mental health. She is majoring in psychology and attending Wheaton College.
