Victoria Perry

Victoria has extensive community service experience, specifically through her church service. She is a youth group leader and an alter server. Each year Victoria volunteers to cook Thanksgiving meals for the homeless and serves food during breakfast with Santa. Her most rewarding experience came from her Eagle Scout Project during the height of Covid. Victoria created “COVID Christmas Carols.” This project enlisted members of the community to create videos of themselves and loved ones singing and playing Christmas carols. Forty videos were recorded and Victoria created a YouTube Channel that was shared with 7 local nursing homes for residents to enjoy while feeling isolated due to Covid during the holidays. Victoria’s passion for this project came from her research on the impact music has on triggering memories in the elderly. Her project can be viewed on COVIDChristmasCarols.com. Victoria will be attending the Naval Academy in the fall.
